Sending Love with Heartfelt Wishes!
Happy Halloween to you and your family! I like to call it dress-up day. I’m actually going to be traveling to my daughter’s home today to help out with the three girls. Jess is going to be making finger foods for supper and then we venture out to a Halloween celebration for the kids. I’m happy that it starts at 5:30 pm since Kaitlynn has school the following morning.
My card for today was created for Cancer Awareness which happens during the whole month of October. When I created my pumpkins, I used different colors. The orange-ish pumpkin is for my hubby as his cancer started in his left kidney and then spread to his bones. All cancers are terrible diseases to go through and I wish and pray so hard for this disease to be abolished. Cancer ruins lives and so much more. So many people in our area have passed away this year from this dreadful disease, including my hubby.
The Pretty Pumpkins Dies not only cut the stamped pumpkins, we have the detailed intricate pumpkins that do no require any stamping. It was hard to capture in my photos but I used Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush on the trio of stamped pumpkins, after I colored them with my inks and Blender Pen.
I also added some dry embossing to the Basic White Cardstock layer using the Timeworn Embossing Folder. I was able to stamp the sentiment after I dry embossed.
Happy Halloween and if you have kiddos going out, please be safe!
