Barns, I love them. We have so many here in Maine and I know each one has a story to tell. Most belong to our farmers. Some are old and delipidated while some have been kept up nicely. We also have many Amish families in some of our communities, so you see new barns being built as their families grow. I’m always so intrigued. My Dad was a mechanic all his life and we never owned animals, so we did not have a barn but my Dad’s garage was in the shape of a barn.
So you can see why I fell in love with our Christmas Barn Bundle. I whipped up this card using the Christmas Barn stamp set and coordinating Barn Dies. It was so much fun creating a scenery with the Stampin’ Up! products I used. It truly makes you feel artistic and accomplished.
I quickly added Poppy Parade Ink to the stamped barn because I actually stamped the barn using Early Espresso Ink. Because the ink is water-based, I didn’t want it to smudge so I did quick and short swipes of color with a Blender Pen. I did not color with a back-and-forth motion, I just quickly swiped:
For the silo’s, I cut two of them with the dies and Basic White Cardstock, and used my Water Painters to add Soft Suede Ink. I hope I got you to fall in love with this bundle. It is only available for a few more months and tomorrow is FREE SHIPPING DAY. Free shipping for 24 hours only!

Thanks for sharing how you did this card. I just bought this and it’s supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I may have to CASE your card! It’s very nice. I, too, LOVE barns and so I had to order this set. I live in SD and there’s a LOT of barns around here, and where my husband farms, a family one, there is a barn, too. Thanks for all your sharing!
