Yes I Truly Did Use Real Leaves!
I love leaves and seeing all of the leaves in our yard start “turning”, which means changing to fall colors in our neck of the woods, I wanted to grab some and use them on cards. I haven’t done this in a few years and decided to show the how-to during a Facebook live last week. I couldn’t believe how many stampers had never seen this technique before.
I used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and pressed them into my paper by running them through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Look at the different leaves that I tried this with. I labeled each one:
I made two cards using the Pressed Leaves Technique during my live class and you can see how I did this with my video. First, here’s a photo of all three cards I completed:
And the ones you’ll see in my video:

Bummer. I tried some of the leaves from my yard and they didn’t work. I’ll stop at a park and pick some different varieties up. Hope they work out. Your leaf cards are gorgeous. I love Fall and they made me smile. Will try again.

Make sure you use watercolor paper and if your machine is lose, add a shim for more pressure!
