Cottage Rose Bundle & Abigail Rose Designer Paper. A Perfect Match!
If you own one of our Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogs, you need to go to page 57 and be wowed! I love every single project that our concept artists show with these products. You can see a snapshot of the page below:
Pay particular attention to the sample in the top right-hand corner because that’s the card I cased today for my Casing The Catalog Edition. The only thing I changed this time, was the coloring of my stamped images and adding a brighter sentiment layer. I wanted bright colors so used Flirty Flamingo, Parakeet Party and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers. All I did was “flick” a little bit of color, leaving a lot of white space:
Here’s the How-to:
- Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Abigail Rose Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Abigail Rose Designer Paper 4-7/8″ x 1″. Cut the right end at an angle and glue to card front even with the designer paper layer on the left.
- Stamped Images: Stamp the image on Basic White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color with the Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut with the dies. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a Flirty Flamingo Cardstock layer that measures 3″ x 1/2″ with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Cut the right end at an angle. Glue over the stamped image.
- Bling: Add Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the background.
