Taco Fiesta Anyone?
Whenever I participate in a team Control Freaks Swap, I am always so anxious to see what Lorri Heiling comes up with. She is so creative, and her cards are always so neat and colorful. I love the fringe layers on this card and how she created a pinata!

- Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento, Tahitian Tide, Daffodil Delight
- Stampin’ Blends: Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Tahitian Tide
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Bakers Twine Essentials Pack
- Misc: Fringe Scissors (retired)
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Daffodil Delight Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp the candy image at the bottom using Daffodil Delight Ink. Set aside.
- Fringe Layers: Cut Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Tahitian Tide Cardstocks to measure 3-3/4″ x 1″. Use Fringe Scissors (retired) or Paper Snips to create the fringes. Glue layered to the Daffodil Delight Cardstock layer as shown
- Twine: Glue a piece of white twine at the top to the back of the fringed layer and add a glue dot to the end of the twine about halfway on the front of the card.
- Stamped Image: Stamp the pinata image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and color with the Stampin’ Blends Markers. Hand-cut the image and glue to the end of the string using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Daffodil Delight Cardstock using Daffodil Delight Ink. Cut with the small banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Trim the right end flat and glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
