Adorable Owls for Sale-A-Bration!
Hello and welcome to a monthly Trip Achievers Blog Hop! This month, I am using the Adorable Owls which is a stamp set you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. Everyone is so in love with these owls! Keep reading and at the bottom of my post, I’ll send you to the next person participating with our blog hop.
I used the Inlaid Embossing Technique on my designer paper layers so that they appear melded into the Basic White Cardstock layer. I’ll explain that in my card recipe below so you can try it!
The Dandy Designs Designer Paper I used is also part of our Sale-A-Bration products you can earn for free and there are 4 each of 12 designs. That’s 48 sheets for free, wowza! I love the soft pastels color palette in all of the designs:
Come on along and follow my steps below to create a card just like mine!

- Stampin’ Blends: Shaded Spruce, Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Set aside.
- Layer #3: Three strips of Dandy Designs Designer Paper 5″ x 1″. Glue to white layer and emboss using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

- Owl: Stamp the owl using Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Color with Stampin’ Blends and hand-cut. Glue to the nest.
- Eggs: Cut 3 eggs with the die and Pool Party Cardstock. Tuck and glue inside the nest.
- Leaves: Using Basic White Cardstock and the leaf dies, cut 6 total. Tuck and glue on and around the nest.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 2-1/2″ x 1/2″ using Early Espresso Ink. Use the Happy Labels Pick A Punch on each end. Glue below the nest flat.
- Bling: Add Fun Flowers Resin Shapes to the background.
