We Are All Using Any Of The 7 Returning Stampin’ Up! Colors This Month!
Have you seen all of the changes in our Stampin’ Up! colors that took place this month? Lots of returning colors and lots of new colors. I love them all! This month for our May Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop, we are all using any of the returning colors which are these:
Here’s my card:
I opted to use Fresh Freesia, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock along with Basic White to stamp on. I was ecstatic when Fresh Freesia carried over from a retiring In Color to a regular color. It’s a color that I’ve used a lot in the past two years. Look at the detail on my stamped layer and my diecuts:
Card Products Used:
- Stamps: Artistically Inked
- Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock
- Inks: Fresh Freesia, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock
- Tools & Accessories: Artistic Dies, Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pretty Peacock Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 3″. Stamp the following repeatedly:
- Large flower image with Lost Lagoon Ink
- Rose image with Pretty Peacock Ink
- Mini flower image with Fresh Freesia Ink
- Glue white layer at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Branch Diecut: Cut (2) large branch diecuts with Lost Lagoon Cardstock. Glue one over the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut the other branch apart into single leaves. Tuck and glue the leaves around and under the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2″ strip of Fresh Freesia Cardstock. Cut the ends close to the wording. Glue over the branch on the front.
- Bling: Add Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the Fresh Freesia Cardstock.
