How To Create A Background With One Image!
I want to show you a neat card today but I’m also going to create urgency. You can see on my stamped image layer that I repeatedly stamped the truck image and then followed that by stamping more trucks on Basic White Cardstock, cut them with the punch and layered over the stamped background trucks. Here’s close-ups:
The little gate fence was hand-cut and tucked onto each truck from behind. Here are the products with product numbers so you’ll have them handy in October:
Card Products:
- Stamps: Trucking Along, Charming Sentiments
- Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam, Pecan Pie
- Cardstock: Basic White, Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam
- Tools & Accessories: Trucking Along Builder Punch, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″.
- Layer 3: Crumb Cake Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Follow these steps:
- Stamp the truck image repeatedly with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Stamp the sentiment on a Basic White Cardstock strip 3/4″ wide. Trim the right end into a background. Glue to the left edge about 1″ from the bottom.
- Stamp (3) truck images on Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Stamp the inside of each truck with ink colors Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam.
- Cut each truck with the punch and glue lined up over three background truck images with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp (3) truck gate fences on Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Stamp the inside of each fence with Pecan Pie Ink and hand-cut.
- Glue and tuck each fence to each truck using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
