True Colors Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Have you had a chance to purchase and play with our 5 new In Colors for this year yet? Our 5 new In Colors include:

I used our 2023-2025 In Color Designer Paper to create a weaved strip background on my card:

I also add our cute 2023-2025 In Color Dots as my last step. I scattered the dots throughout the background. I love that they are self-adhesive. Just peel & stick!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Tools & Accessories: 2023-2025 In Color Dots, 2″ Circle Punch, 2-3/8″ Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Natural Prints Dies, Linen Thread

Card Recipe to create the background:

Step 1: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Cut 2 strips of each color In Color Designer Paper 6″ x 1/2″. Glue one of each color diagonally with a 1/2″ space between each strip. Add adhesive only to the ends so you can weave the next set of strips.

Step 2: Trim the ends.

Step 3: Use the 5 remaining strips and weave through the 1st set of strips. Weave under and over and do the opposite each time you add a strip. Add glue to each end and press in place.

Step 4: Trim the ends.

• Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″, score and fold at 5-1/2″. Glue strip layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Boho Blue Ink. Cut with the 2″ Circle Punch. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals to a circle cut with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch and Basic White Cardstock. Glue to card front centered and at the left.
• Diecuts: Diecut the branch with the branch die from Natural Prints Dies: (2) with Pebble Path and (1) with Wild Wheat. Glue all 3 to the bottom right of the circle.
• Twine: Create a bow with Linen Thread and glue to the branches.
• Bling: Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the background using all 5 colors.
