Three Pretty Colors for a Color Challenge!
It’s a Thursday Color Challenge at Create With Connie & Mary this week. I hope you’ll create a card using these fabulous colors together. This is what I did with the colors:
My card is Clean & Simple and I love the addition of the Vellum Cardstock circle that I added behind the stamped trees. The circle was cut with our Deckled Circles Dies.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Regal Reindeer
- Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Real Red, Basic White, Vellum
- Designer Paper: Countryside Inn
- Inks: Misty Moonlight, Real Red
- Tools & Accessories: Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems, Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack, Deckled Circles Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Countryside Inn Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Real Red Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″. Glue to card front about 3/4″ from the bottom
- Layer 4: Vellum Cardstock cut with the 2-7/8″ Deckled Circles Dies. Glue to card front about 1″ from the left.
- Trees: Stamp the trees image on Basic White Cardstock with Misty Moonlight Ink. Cut with the die. Glue over the vellum circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 3/4″ Stamp the sentiment off-center towards the left with Real Red Ink. Glue to red layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Twine: Wrap the silver twine above the white layer twice and tie into a bow at the right of the vellum circle.
- Bling: Add embellishments to the vellum circle.
