Two New Techniques Using Embossing Paste, Dies and Masks!
Before I talk about the two projects for today, I just want to let you know I have been swamped with my Paint Party Kits so I have missed posting here on my blog a few times in the past few weeks. All is good, I’m just super busy!
I have two cards for you today that I created during a team class that I hosted on Zoom for my Stamp & Ink Designs Team. I had a ton of fun with both of these cards.
This first one uses a leaf die as a stencil. I turned the die with the cutting side up, and then filled the inside with Embossing Paste. I also used a stylus to add veins to the leaf. You have to make sure you remove the die so you can soak it in water immediately. If you don’t, you’ll have some scraping to do!
The 2nd technique uses Gold Embossing Powder sprinkled on the wet embossing paste and heated with the Heat Tool. You have to keep moving the heat tool so the embossing paste doesn’t bubble up.
I love experimenting with techniques and I hope I have given you two great ideas to try. Let me know what else you’ve been doing with embossing paste. I would love to hear from you!
