Watercolor Melon Coming Soon for Sale-A-Bration!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . What pretty colors we are using this week for a color challenge. I hope you’ll sit in your stamp room to create and use these colors:
We have some new products coming soon for Sale-A-Bration and a new Mini Catalog. The stamp set I am using today is called Watercolor Melon and is a stamp set you’ll be able to earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. I love the detailed images:
Another neat thing about this stamp set is the watermelons work well with the Moden Oval Punch. I used the punch on all three melon images.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Watercolor Melon, Charming Sentiments
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Cherry Cobbler
- Designer Paper: Flight & Airy
- Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Pecan Pie, Old Olive
- Tools & Accessories: Modern Oval Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Flight & Airy Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 5-1/2″ x 3″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/2″ x 2-3/4″. Add the following:
- Stamp the sentiment to the bottom right with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Stamp the leaf image twice, once above the sentiment and once to the left with Old Olive Ink.
- On a scrap white layer, stamp the whole melon image with Old Olive Ink and cut with the punch.
- On a scrap white layer, stamp the melon slice image with Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Pecan Pie for the inks. Repeat twice and cut with the end of the punch.
- Glue all three images over the stamped leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
