A Gorgeous Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . Have you seen our new Hot Air Balloon Bundle yet? I received it a few weeks ago and am just now getting around to playing with the bundle. I created a 3D hot air balloon with the dies on my card front:
You can see the height of my hot air balloon but just know, it does fold flat for mailing. I love that there are several dies to cut clouds out of as well:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Hot Air Balloon
- Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Perennial Lavender
- Inks: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather
- Tools & Accessories: Hot Air Balloon Dies, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Scalloped Contours Dies
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lost Lagoon Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Perennial Lavender Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Follow these steps:
- Basic White Cardstock cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. Stamp the balloon basket with Gorgeous Grape Ink about 2-1/2″ from the top.
- Cut 4 of the heart-shaped die using Lost Lagoon Cardstock. Glue one flat to the Basic White layer lined up with the basket. Fold the other 3 in half and glue to each other. Glue to the piece on the front of the Basic White Cardstock layer.
- Stamp the sentiment with Highland Heather Ink to the bottom right.
- Cut out (3) clouds with the dies and glue to Basic White Cardstock layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the background.
- Glue white layer to card front.
