Z Fold Card Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Happy March and spring is almost here! We have some really neat themes for this month and today is Z Card Folds. This is my card:
The Planted Paradise stamp set is so fun to play with. You can use many sorts of leaves and branches to fill up the plant pots. I fussy-cut all of the cut pieces you see on the front and stamped inside the card as well:
You can come up with so many variations because it’s such a huge stamp set with many images.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Planted Paradise, Blueberry Bunches
- Inks: Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather
- Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Basic WHite
- Designer Paper: Perennial Lavender
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Gorgeous Grape Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold in opposite directions at 1-3/4″ & 4-1/4″.
- Inside Layer: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Use all of the ink colors to build the large pot & plants. Stamp the sentiment so it peeks through the front with Old Olive Ink.
- Front Flap Layer 1: Perennial Lavender Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 2-1/4″. Glue behind front flap on the front.
- Front Flap Layer 2: Perennial Lavender Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″. Glue to front flap.
- Planted Pot: Stamp the pot and leaves using the ink colors on Basic White Cardstock. Fussy-cut all pieces with Paper Snips. Glue pot in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue the large leaves flat and glue the small leaf clusters with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the front pot and near the sentiment.
