It’s Nature Theme Month!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple. Connie and I create simple cards each week and this month, our theme is Nature!
The Inspirational Sketches stamp set has such pretty and detailed images and I just loved using this bird image:
I also added a little bit of stamping direct onto the designer paper from the top left to the bottom right. The image is almost like a checkerboard design but with little squiggly lines:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Inspirational Sketches
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Bee Mine
- Tools & Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Bee Mine Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the squiggly lined image starting at the top left to the bottom right with Early Espresso Ink. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Early Espresso Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 2-1/4″. Glue about 3/4″ from the left side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 4″ x 2″. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom and the bird at the top with Early Espresso Ink. Glue to Early Espresso layer.
