In The Spotlight Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. We have a neat blog hop this week featuring Spotlighted cards. We all took a portioin of our card and made it stand out. Can you find what I spotlighted?
I chose to stamp my image with one color and spotlight the blueberries by coloring them. You can get a glimpse of what I mean in the first photo below and layer details on the second photo:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Blueberry Bunches, Magnolia Bloom
- Inks: Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends
- Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Balmy Blue
- Designer Paper: Glorious Gingham
- Tools & Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots Blender Pen, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Blender Pens, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Blamy Blue Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Glorious Gingham Designer Paper cut with the 4-1/4″ x 3″ Deckled Rectangles Dies. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Blueberry Bushel Inks. Glue to card front centered.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 2-3/4″ x2-3/4″ square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Turn the shape so the point is at the top and stamp the blueberries image with Blueberry Bushel Ink. Use a Blender Pen to color the blueberries with the inked lines. Use the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Markers for the center of each blueberry. Color the blueberries with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the gingham background.
