Masculine Theme!
Welcome to a monthly Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. This month, we are all creating masculine projects. The Adventurous Sky Bundle and Take To The Sky Designer Paper makes it so easy for you!
I used multiple layers of designer paper and stamped a bunch of coordinating clouds:
Did you notice how I used a Blender Pen to spread the ink on the propeller area? It makes it look like motion is happening. Here are the Stampin’ Up! products I used:
- Stamps: Adventurous Sky
- Inks: Blueberry Bushel, VersaMark, Boho Blue
- Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lolly, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Take To The Sky
- Tools & Accessories: Adventurous Sky Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Industrial Trinkets, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powder, Linen Thread, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score at 4-1/4 and fold.
- Layer #2: Designer Paper (clouds) 5-1/4 x 4. Cut at 2-14 on the short side. Flip the shorter strip over and glue both pieces to card front.
- Clouds: Stamp the clouds on Basic White Cardstock with Boho Blue Ink. Cut with the dies and glue where the two designer papers meet with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Airplane: Stamp on Lemon Lolly Cardstock with Blueberry Bushel Ink. Use a Blender Pen to spread the ink around the propeller. Glue airplane above the clouds and to the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Blueberry Bushel Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Cut with the die. Add Linen Thread to the front with Mini Glue Dots. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tuck and glue the Linen Thread under the airplane.
- Bling: Add Industrial Trinkets below the clouds.
