Sketch Challenge For Our Team!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . Do you like creating with the help of a sketch? Well we have a neat one for you this week and this is the card I created:
It was fun to add layers to the pocket-shaped layer. I added the diecut clouds for a little bit of interest to my project. Here are a few close-up photos:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Adventurous Sky
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Night Of Navy, Balmy Blue, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Take To The Sky
- Inks: Night Of Navy
- Tools & Accessories: Adventurous Sky Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Basic Gray Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Night Of Navy Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Take To The Sky Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Take To The Sky Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 2-1/2. Make a pencil mark at 3/4″ on each long side and cut to the center of the short side for the pocket shape. Glue pocket to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 5: Take To The Sky Designer Paper 2-7/8 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Night Of Navy Ink. Glue to pocket at an angle.
- Clouds: Cut two of each cloud with Basic White Cardstock. Glue one on the pocket at the left below the sentiment. Glue 2 tucked under the pocket on the right side and glue the last one to the pocket .
- Airplane: Stamp the airplane on Balmy Blue Cardstock with Night Of Navy Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to pocket front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
