In The Garden Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. I love to garden. I have raised beds for my veggies and about 8 flower gardens. I decided to change my mulch color this year and am up to 77 bags of mulch and not done yet. Isn’t that crazy?
This week our theme is in the garden so I used the carrot image from the Market Goodness Bundle:
I also added in a layer of patterns from the To Market Designer Paper and Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Market Goodness
- Inks: Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral, Garden Green
- Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Basic White, Pecan Pie
- Designer Paper: To Market
- Tools & Accessories: Radiating Stitches Dies, Sponge Dauber, Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Calyps Coral Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: To Market Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock cut with the Radiating Stitches Dies 4 x 2-5/8. Stamp the carrot image three times with Calypso Coral Ink about 3/4″ from the bottom. Add tops with Garden Green Ink. Glue to card front centered.
- Layer 4: Pecan Pie Cardstock cut with the Radiaiting Stitches Dies 4 x 2-5/8. Tear across about 1-1/4″ high. Use a Sponge Dauber and Pecan Pie Ink to add color to the torn edge. Glue even at the bottom with the white layer.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 3-1/2 x 1/2 with Garden Green Ink. Glue above the carrots with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the Pecan Pie Cardstock layer.
