A Colorful Inspiration Photo This Week!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is full of vibrant colors and a great way to envision a color challenge:
My thoughts went right to our Full Of Life Designer Paper because the colors in this paper pack are similar to the colors in the inspiration photo. I chose a patterned sheet that has mostly blue, pink and purple tones to it and I think works perfectly for todays challenge:
I even added some handcut dragonflies from the Happiest Day stamp set and cut a few of my layers with the Perennial Postage Dies:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Happiest Day
- Inks: VersaMark
- Cardstock: Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue
- Designer Paper: Full Of Life
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Perennial Postage Dies, Blooming Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Full Of Life Designer Paper cut with the 4-1/2 x 3-1/4 Perennial Postage Dies. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Blackberry Bliss Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt with the Heat Tool. Cut with the 1-7/8 x 1-1/8 Perennial Postage Dies. Glue to card front at the bottom right corner on the designer paper layer.
- Dragonflies: Stamp the dragonfly image on Balmy Blue and Azure Afternoon Cardstocks with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt with the Heat Tool. Cut with Paper Snips and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Blooming Pearls to the background.
