My foodie for this week are tomatoes! This makes me think if my younger days when I hated tomatoes as a child. Mostly because of the seeds in them. I love tomatoes now as an adult, but prefer to eat roma tomatoes because of their lack of seeds. I even grow them in my raised bed veggie garden. I have 12 tomato plants growing as I write this.
The tomato image is from the Market Goodness Bundle and the To Market Designer Paper. I love how the two products are matchy-matchy:
The tomatoes are stamped with the two-step stamping technique. I started out with the red tomatoes and then added the green vines:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Market Goodness
- Inks: Real Red, Garden Green, Soft Sea Foam
- Cardstock: Garden Green, Soft Sea Foam, Basic White
- Designer Paper: To Market
- Tools & Accessories: 2-3/8 Circle Punch, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: To Market Designer Paper 4 x 2-3/4. Glue at the top left at an angle.
- Layer 3: Garden Green Cardstock 4 x 2-3/4. Stamp the vines image at the bottom right with Garden Green Ink. Glue to card front at the bottom right at an angle.
- Stamp the xxx image on the card base with Soft Sea Foam Ink around the other layers.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 2-3/8 Circle Punch. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Soft Sea Foam Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tomatoes: Stamp the tomato image on Basic White Cardstock with Real Red Ink. Stamp the vines with Garden Green Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the circle shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the circle layer.
