The Blues Brothers!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Our design team is creating projects using movie titles with a color name in them! This week is all about The Blues Brothers and I made my daisies blue!
I used three shades of blue on my card: Misty Moonlight, Pool Party and Azure Afternoon:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Cheerful Daisies
- Inks: Misty Moonlight, Copper Clay
- Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Copper Clay, Pool Party, Azure Afternoon, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Cheerful Daisies Dies, Perennial Postage Dies, Opal Rounds Assortment, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Perennial Postage Dies 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front.
- Daisies: Stamp the daisies, 2 large and 3 small on Azure Afternoon Cardstock with Misty Moonlight Ink. Cut with the dies and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Centers: Stamp the daisy centers with Copper Clay Ink. Cut with the dies and glue to center of flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Leaves: Cut 6 leaves with the die and Basic White Cardstock. Tuck and glue around the flowers.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Copper Clay Ink. Cut with the label shape die. Glue to card front.
- Bling: Add Opal Rounds Assortment to the background.
