The Green Hornet!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. We are continuing with our month long celebration of movies with colors in the titles. This week is The Green Hornet! I hope you enjoy our design team projects.
Here’s mine using greens:
I adore the little diecut basket from our Market Goodness Bundle. I filled it with lettuce leaves and added a few diecut flowers to the front. Isn’t it cute?
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Market Goodness
- Inks: Garden Green
- Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Soft Sea Foam
- Designer Paper: To Market
- Tools & Accessories: Market Goodness Dies, Dashing Designs Embossing Folder, Petal Pink & White Diagonal Trim Combo, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Paper Snips, Tear & Tape
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: To Market Designer Paper 4 x 2-3/4. Glue to card front at an angle.
- Sentiment: Basic White Cardstock 3 x 1. Snip the right end into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Stamp the sentiment to the right with Garden Green Ink. Glue to designer paper 1″ from the bottom.
- Ribbon: Add a strip of Tear & Tape 1/2″ from the top of the designer paper. Press the ribbon in place and trim to fit.
- Basket: Follow these steps:
- Basket: Cut with the die and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- Flowers: Cut 3 flowers with the dies and glue to basket.
- Add Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of each flower.
- Bow: Cut one bow with the die and glue to the handle of the basket
- Lettuce: Stamp 2 lettuce images with Garden Green Ink. For the 2nd image of the lettuce, stamp on scrap paper first for a lighter color. Cut with the die. Stack and glue them to the inside of the basket.
- Glue backet to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
