Country Woods and Country Flowers!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenge. This week’s inspiration challenge is a photo of an elegant lacey curtain with pops of blue:
The Country Lace Designer Paper was the perfect way to go on this one. The prints on the designer paper are lacey and I used two different patterns:
I paired the designer paper with the Country Flowers Bundle too. If you cut the two pieces of designer paper the same size and make the same angled cut, you have enough layers for two cards!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Country Flowers
- Inks: Misty Moonlight
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Misty Moonlight
- Designer Paper: Country Woods
- Tools & Accessories: Country Flowers, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pens, Nested Essential Dies, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Country Woods Designer Paper (2 patterns) 5 x 3-3/4. Layer both pieces on top of teach other and cut at an angle. Use the top piece from one pattern and the bottom piece from the other pattern. Glue to card front. (use the other two pieces for a 2nd card).
- Layer 4: Misty Moonlight Cardstock cut with the Nested Essential Dies Glue to card front about 3/4″ from the left side.
- Vase: Cut one vase using the die with Basic White Cardstock. Glue to label shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flowers: Stamp the flowers image on Basic White Cardstock with Misty Moonlight Ink. Use a Blender Pen to color with the inked liness. Cut with the die and glue above the base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2″ side strip of Basic White Cardstock. Trim both ends into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
