So Many Leaves For A Color Challenge!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . Look at the pretty colors our team is using for a Color Challenge this week:
It was easy to use these colors with the pretty leaves from the Changing Leaves Bundle. I love the embossing on the leaves and also on my background layer:
You also have the choice of the embossed leaves and diecut only leaves. They work so well together:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Changing Leaves
- Cardstock: Basic White, Thick Basic White, Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Basic Beige
- Inks: Poppy Parade
- Tools & Accessories: Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder( & Dies), Stampin’ Dimensionals, Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries, Petal Pink & White Diagonal Ribbon
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic Beige Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the embossing folder. Glue to card front.
- Leaves: Use the dies to cut three leaves first using Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink Cardstocks. Once cut, place over the coordinating leaves inside the embossing folder and emboss. Glue all three leaves to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Poppy Parade Ink. Cut with the label die. Glue over the leaves.
- Leaves: Use the small diecuts to cut leaves with Basic White Cardstock. Glue over the embossed leaves.
- Ribbon: Tie a knot with the ribbon and glue to the stems.
- Bling: Add Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries to the embossed leaves.
