Garden Meadow for Happy Harvest!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
I love to garden. I have many flower beds and also a veggie garden. I have had an idea in my head for quite a few years but haven’t found an old wheelbarrow yet. The card I created today kind of reminds me of that idea:
I want to take an old wheelbarrow, drill holes on the inside for drainage and then grow flowers in it. Someday, I will find that old wheelbarrow! In the meantime, I’m happy with this one!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Garden Meadow, Layers Of Beauty
- Inks: Copper Clay, Stampin’ Write Markers
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Meandering Meadows
- Stampin’ Blends: Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo
- Tools & Accessories: Garden Meadow Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Follow these steps;
- Stamp the sentiment at the left above center with Blackberry Bliss Ink.
- Stamp the small flower image twice at the left with one higher than the other using Blackberry Bliss Ink.
- Color the flowers Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
- Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 3: Meandering Meadows Designer Paper 5 x 1. Glue to the edge of layer 2 on the right side.
- Wheelbarrow: Stamp the wheelbarrow on Basic White Cardstock and follow these steps:
- Cut with the die.
- Color with Balmy Blue and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.
- Color the flowers Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
- Glue to card front to the left of the small flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
