Christmas Friends Moose Card!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . This week is all about using this sketch:
If you’ve never used a sketch to help you create, it’s just a guideline. You don’t need exact measurements, you can flip the sketch vertically or horizontally and you can substitute the shapes. Here’s my card using the sketch:
I used the Christmas Friends Bundle with some pretty designer paper layers from the Season Of Elegance Designer Paper. You can also see that I embossed the Old Olive Cardstock with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder:

- Cardstock: Old Olive, Early Espresso, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Season Of Elegance
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Stampin’ Blends: Real Red, Old Olive
- Tools & Accessories: Christmas Friends Dies, Blender Pens, Fern 3D Embossing Folders, Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Old Olive Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Season Of Elegance Designer Paper 3-1/2 x 3-1/2. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Season Of Elegance Designer Paper 4 x 2-1/2. Glue to card front.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the card front and tie into a bow at the left.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the circle die. Stamp the sentiment at the left with Early Espresso Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bough: Cut one bough with the die and Old Olive Cardstock. Glue to the circle below the sentiment.
- Moose: Stamp the moose on Basic White Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Use a Blender Pen to add color to the moose body by coloring with the inked lines. Color the scarf and socks with Stampin’ Blends. Cut the moose with the die and glue to the circle with Stampin’ DImensionals.
