A Stamp & Ink Designs Group Summer Sampler Swap!
Oh what fun I had coming up with 9 identical Sampler Swap squares. I hosted a Sampler Swap on my Stamp & Ink Designs Facebook group recently and we had 36 participants. What is a Sampler Swap?
I give everyone the dimensionals and rules for each square created such as this:
Once the rules are posted with the deadline date, everyone gets busy creating and mails each square to their team members. We create 9 and keep one for ourselves. It’s so much fun to see what shows up in the mail eight times!
I used the Lazy Days Bundle for my squares and created a little front porch scenery:
Once all of my squares arrived, I got busy adding cardstock and designer paper to a 1/2″ thick artist canvas. I like gluing mine this way because you can use it in two ways. As a shelf sitter or hang it on a wall.
I love how each square depicts a little bit of summer!
Tomorrow, I’ll show you three cards I created using some additional Sampler Squares I received in the mail. If you are on Facebook, join my group page so you can join in on the creative fun we have each and every month. I also host a One Card Swap each month where you send out one card to a group member and we also have a RAK Birthday Club (Random Act Of Kindness). We send each other birthday cards each month and depending on the month of your birthday, you’ll get lots of cards in the mail. Join here:
