I’m Still Catching Up On Showing You Cards I Created During Sale-a-Bration!
I got behind a little when posting all of the projects I created during Sale-A-Bration. I didn’t get to post this card and I think I’m all caught up after this one. The Dainty Designs Designer Paper is my favorite designer paper of all time I think, but it’s now retired. I love the patterns and beautiful colors. I am so happy that the color Fresh Freesia will not be retiring after this month. It is one of the colors that is carrying over to our regular lineup of colors. I have been using this color so much and it looks fabulous on my card today.
You can see in the photos below that there are two panels that open to reveal the inside of my card and the stamp set I used is Best Day from the Mini Catalog. This is called a Joy Fold:
Card Measurements:
- Card Base: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2 Left Flap: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 4″ x 3-1/2″. Score at 1/2″ on the 4″ side. Fold on score line. Glue the 1/2″ flap to the left side of the card base.
- Layer #3 Right Flap: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 3-1/2″ x 3″. Score at 1/2″ on the 3-1/2″ side. Fold on score line. Glue the 1/2″ flap to the right side of the card base.
- Layer #4: Dainty Designs Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base and over the 1/2″ flaps.
- Layer #5 Inside: Basic White Cardstock 4″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp the image and sentiment to the top with Fresh Freesia Ink and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Glue to inside of the card, centered.
- Layer #6 Large Flap: Dainty Designs Designer Paper 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. Glue to large flap on the left.
- Layer #7 Small Flap: Dainty Designs Designer Paper 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″. Glue to large flap on the right.
- Layer #8 Stamped Layer: Stamp the image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends Markers-Fresh Freesia and Petal Pink. Glue to front flap with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the left on the designer paper.
