Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! All month long we are celebrating songs and this week’s Green Eyed Lady is about shades of green colors. I used Parakeet Party and Garden Green for my colors:

I used our new 2022-2024 In Color Designer Paper paired with the Best Butterflies stamp set and Build A Butterfly Dies. The Parakeet Party In Color Ribbon and the Fun Flowers Resin Shapes were both perfect to finish off my card. Here are close-ups of the details:

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Parakeet Party Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
• Layer #2: Garden Green Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card front.
• Layer #3: 2022-2024 In Color Designer Paper 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″. Glue to card front.
• Tags: Cut (2) tags using the Tailor Made Tags Dies as follows:
  • (1) using 2022-2024 In Color Designer Paper.
  • (1) using Garden Green Cardstock.
  • Stamp the dots image a few times on the Garden Green tag with Garden Green Ink.
  • Thread the Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon through both tags and wrap around the card front and tie into a bow.
  • Add adhesive to the designer paper tag and press in place.
  • Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Garden Green tag and press in place.
• Butterfly: Stamp and glue the butterfly as follows:
  • Top wings: Stamp on Basic White Cardstock using Garden Green Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bottom wings: Stamp on Basic White Cardstock using Parakeet Party Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the body on Basic White Cardstock using Garden Green Ink by stamping on scrap paper first and then stamping on the white cardstock for a lighter ink color. Cut with the die and glue to the butterfly wings.
• Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock using Parakeet Party Ink. Repeat three times horizontally. Cut close to the wording and glue to the tag.
• Bling: Add Fun Flowers Resin Shapes to the bottom of the designer paper tag.
