Favorite New Sale-A-Bration Designer Paper!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! I hope you have been enjoying our new Mini Catalog and also earning free products during our Sale-A-Bration period. Our team is featuring our favorite Sale-A-Bration Designer Paper this week and mine is the Favored Flowers as you can see here on both of my cards:
I ended up cutting a layer of the designer paper to measure 4″ x 4″ and cutting it diagonally to end up with two pieces for two cards! Take a peek at these photos and then I’ll list the steps for you:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Go To Greetings
- Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Cardstock: Fresh Freesia
- Designer Paper: Favored Flowers
- Tools & Accessories: Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon, Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Two Fresh Freesia Cardstock pieces 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold both at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Two Fresh Freesia Cardstock pieces 5-1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the sentiment at the top left corner on one layer and the bottom right corner on the 2nd piece using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Set aside.
- Layer #3: Favoring Flowers Designer Paper 4″ x 4″. Use a pencil to add a 1″ mark at the top right and bottom left. Cut diagonally and glue to both Layer 2’s.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon placed on the front and glued to the back of each layer positioned next to the designer paper.
- Glue cardstock to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals on both card bases.
- Bling: Add Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the background of both cards.
