Flower Power Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Who doesn’t love flowers? And Stampin’ Up! always comes through with products featuring flowers. There’s so many to pick from. Today’s card uses the Stippled Roses Bundle:
I also added in some pretty paper from the Most Adored Designer Paper from Sale-A-Bration. You can see the various heart patterns on one side of the papers:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Stippled Roses
- Inks: Shaded Spruce, Real Red Stampin’ Blends
- Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Soft Sea Foam
- Designer Paper: Most Adored
- Tools & Accessories: Stippled Roses Dies, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pens
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Real Red Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Emboss with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: (2) patterns of the Most Adored Designer Paper 4-1/4″ x 3″. Glue both pieces as different angles to card front
- Stamp & Diecut Images: Add the following:
- Large Branch: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the die. Use a Blender Pen to add color to the leaves with the inked lines. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Diecut Branch: Cut (2) branches with the dies and Basic White Cardstock. Glue both branches to card front.
- Rose: Stamp the rose image on Basic White Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink. Use a Blender Pen to color the leaves with the inked lines. Color the rose with the Real Red Markers. Cut with the die and glue to card front.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Shaded Spruce Ink on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White Cardstock. Snip the ends into a banner shape. Glue banner to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers to the background.
