Peek-A-Boo Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Our Design Team has some pretty cards for you this week. But what am I talking about? Our team always has pretty cards. This week we are featuring Peek-A-Boo cards. That means there’s probably some type of “hole” in the front to allow something from the inside to peek through:
I used our Perennial Postage Dies to cut a hole through the cardstock and designer paper. The flower image pops through the hole nicely and I even added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the smaller flowers:

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Meandering Meadows Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card base. Use the 2-7/8″ x 2″ Perennial Postage Die to cut a hole through the front.
- Inside: Follow these steps:
- Stamp the branch image in the center a few times with Crushed Curry Ink.
- Stamp the greenery image a few times over the branches with Shaded Spruce Ink.
- Stamp the cluster on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock with Berry Burst Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the inside of the card.
- Stamp the small flowers on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock with Crushed Curry Ink. Color the flowers with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Use the die to cut all four flowers. Glue to the berry cluster with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. NOTE: Fold the card flat so you’ll know where to glue the small flowers.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Fresh Freesia Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 3/4″ using Shaded Spruce Ink. Glue to card base about 2″ from the bottom.
- Ribbon: Tie the ribbon around the left side of the card through the hole and tie into a bow.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds to the background.
