The Great Outdoors Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! I love spending time outdoors. Especially during the summer months as I work in the flower gardens, veggie garden and mowing the lawn. The theme of our blog hop today is the Great Outdoors and I think my sentiment says it all to those of you that know how to relax:
Relaxing is something I don’t know how to do. I’m not the type to sit, as I like being active and doing something when I’m outdoors, so the word relaxing is a hard one for me. I love that the stamped image from the In The Moment stamp set is relaxing with a glass of wine and looking out beyond.
The Designer Paper patterned layer I used is from the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper and I thought it was so perfect as the background. I stamped directly on the designer paper:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: In The Moment
- Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento, Stampin’ Blends Markers
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Lemon Lolly, Berry Burst
- Designer Paper: Fresh As A Daisy
- Tools & Accessories: Timber Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Berry Burst Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Emboss using the Timber Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. Follow these steps:
- Stamp the girl image on the left with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Color the image with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Berry Burst and our Flesh tones.
- Stamp the sentiment on the right of the image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Glue to card front 1/2″ from the left side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
