Sketch Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . Welcome to a Sketch Challenge week. We all used the sketch you see above for our projects and this is my card for this week:
The All About Autumn Designer Paper is so gorgeous and I didn’t want to cover it up too much, so I kept my layers small. I love the scenery on this paper. Although my layers are little, they still look good paired with all of the products I used:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Fruitful Blessings
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Cajun Craze, Misty Moonlight, Lemon Lolly
- Designer Paper: All About Autumn
- Inks: Casun Craze
- Tools & Accessories: Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack, Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pens, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: All About Autumn Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Cajun Craze Cardstock cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 3-1/2″ x 2-1/8″. Glue to card front at an angle about 1″ from the top and to the right.
- Layer 4: Misty Moonlight Cardstock cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 3-1/8″ x 1-3/4″. Glue to card front at an angle about 1-1/4″ from the top and to the left.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 2-3/4″ x 1-3/8″. Stamp the branch image with Cajun Craze Ink and color using the inked lines and a Blender Pen. Glue to card front at an angle over the other two layers.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2″ strip of Lemon Lolly Cardstock with Cajun Craze Ink. Cut the right end straight. Cut the left end into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue to card front by adding one Stampin’ Dimensional to the left end and gluing over the white layer.
- Ribbon: Create a double-bow with the ribbon and glue to the bottom right corner of the white layer with Mini Glue Dots.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems to the background.
