Snowy Wonder & Snowman Hugs!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a beautiful snowy scene:
Would you pick the colors, the theme, the cabin, the snowman or the trees for your card? For my card, I chose to use the cabin, trees and colors:
It was really fun to set up my cabin scenery. The pretty bow and diecut & loose snowflakes added some nice layers too!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Snowy Wonder, Snowman Hugs
- Inks: Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce
- Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry
- Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Poppy Parade
- Designer Paper: Meandering Meadows, Neutrals
- Tools & Accessories: Snowy Wonder Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, White Loose Snowflakes, Iridescent Striped Trim, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shaded Spruce Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Meandering Meadows Designer Paper cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 4-3/4 x 3-3/8. Wrap the ribbon around the long side of the designer paper and tie into a bow at the left. Glue layer 1/4″ from the right edge.
- Layer 4: Neutrals Designer Paper cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 4 x 2-5/8. Glue to card front 1/2″ from the right edge with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 5: Poppy Parade Cardstock 2-1/2 x 5/8. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink. Glue 1/4″ from the bottom and even with the right edge of the Neutrals Designer Paper layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cabin & Trees: Follow these steps:
- Stamp the cabin with Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
- Color the door and windows with Stampin’ Blends.
- Glue tucked under the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp three trees with Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
- Cut with the dies.
- Glue tucked under the sentiment on both sides of the cabin.
- Bling: Add White Loose Snowflakes to the background. I used liquid glue.
