It’ A June Foodie Theme!
We at Create With Stamping Friends have been having so much fun each Tuesday with our June Foodie theme! It’s been interesting to use food on our projects each week!
This week, I chose to use the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle because who doesn’t love ice cream? I recently purchased an attachment to my KitchenAid mixer to make my own ice cream and oh is it good! I even make my own homemade vanilla with vanilla beans to put in it and the flavor is wonderful!
This is my ice cream foodie card for this week:
I used Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Crumb Cake and Basic White for my colors:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ice Cream Swirl
- Inks: Berry Burst
- Cardstock: Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Crumb Cake, Basic White
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Stampin’ Blends: Bronze
- Tools & Accessories: Ice Cream Swirl Dies, Labeled With Love Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Crumb Cake Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Berry Burst Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: In Color Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Cut diagonally from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. Use the bottom piece and glue to the Basic White layer.
- Ice Cream Cone: Follow these steps:
- Cone: Use the die with Crumb Cake Cardstock to cut the cone. Glue to the right on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ice Cream Layer 1: Cut with Bubble Bath Cardstock. Glue layered over the cone and add Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ice Cream Layer 2: Cut with Petunia Pop Cardstock and the die. Glue over the Bubble Bath layer.
- Cherry: Cut with Berry Burst Cardstock and the die. Color the stem with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends. Glue to ice cream.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Berry Burst Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the Labeled With Love Punch. Glue to the left of the cone with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
