It’s A New Theme, A New Month And All About SUMMER!
Welcome to a weekly Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple challenge! Connie and I create simple cards every Tuesday and the month of July is all about SUMMER!
Who doesn’t like the beach, or the ocean, or the lake? Do you spend any summer time away where you’ll find water? I used the Seaside Wishes Bundle for my pretty card:
I love that the dies and embossing folder work together in one step to cut and emboss some of the elements from the bundle. See what I mean?
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Seaside Wishes
- Inks: Pebbled Path, Petunia Pop
- Cardstock: Pebbled Path, Petunia Pop, Petal Pink, Basic White
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Tools & Accessories: Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petal Pink Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Pebbled Path Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Seaside Wishes Embossing Folder only. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: 2024-2026 In Color Designer Paper 4 x 2-3/4. Glue at an angle to the left on the card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 4 x 2-3/4. Stamp the sand dollar image on scrap paper first, and without reinking, on the white layer at the bottom right. Stamp the star fish image at the top of the shell with Pebbled Path Ink. Stamp the rocks image twice without reinking to the left of the sand dollar. Glue to card front to the right of the designer paper and at an opposite angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sand Dollar: Place a scrap piece of Petal Pink Cardstock inside the embossing folder along with the die. Cut and emboss. Glue over the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Pebbled Path Ink on Petunia Pop Cardstock 2 x 3/4. Glue to sand dollar.
- Bling: Add Irridescent Basic Pearl Jewels to the background.
