Thoughtful Wishes Feathered Friends!
Good morning and welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Tuesday. If you love to create simple cards, you’ve come to the right place! Every Tuesday, Connie and I create simple cards with a theme. The theme for September is:
The Nests Of Winter Designer Paper has some pretty preprinted images and that’s what I used for my Feathered Friend this week:
Although this card may look a little complicated, I only have 5 simple layers on it:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Thoughtful Wishes
- Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist, Real Red
- Designer Paper: Nests Of Winter
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Winterly Tree Tops Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shaded Spruce Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Nests Of Winter Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Read Red Cardstock 4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Glue about 1-1/2″ from the top.
- Layer 4: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Use the die to cut the framed design. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bird: Choose a bird image from the designer paper, fussy-cut with Paper Snips and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
