Halloween Magic Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Do you love Halloween? I do. I also really love creating using the Potions & Spells Bundle. Connie and I recently came up with a tutorial collection using this bundle. If you missed it, you can find it HERE.
Now on to my Split Panel Card Fold. I used the cauldron for my split panel. Isn’t that neat?
I love the look of Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Balck and Highland Heather for my color choices. The Lemon Lime Twist really pops!

- Inks: Tuxedo Memento Black, Highland Heather, VersaMark
- Cardstock: Basic White, Basic Black, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Highland Heather Cardstock 7-1/4 x 4-1/4. Score at 5-1/2. Also, 4-1/4 x 1-3/4.
- Layer 2: (2) Basic Black Cardstock 4 x 1-1/2. Glue to both card base pieces.
- Layer 3: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 3-3/4 x 1-1/4. Stamp the sparkle image repeatedly on both pieces with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Glue over the black layers.
- Cauldron: Stamp the cauldron image on Basic Black Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt the powder with the Heat Tool. Cut with the die and also cut a 2nd cauldron (unstamped). Set aside.
- Bubbles: Stamp the bubbles image on Basic White Cardstock. Hand-cut with Paper Snips. Color the bubbles with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to the back of the cauldron.
- Sticks: Cut (2) sticks with the die and Basic Black Cardstock. Glue to the cauldron.
- Position the small layer of the card even with the bottom of the card base. Hold in place and glue cauldron so part of it is glued to the top section and to the bottom section. Flip the card front open and glue the 2nd cauldron by lining it up. This will make the cauldron more sturdy.
- Drips: Cut (1) drip with the die and Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Glue to the front of the cauldron at the top.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Highland Heather Ink on Basic White Cardstock 2-3/4 x 3/8. Trim both ends into a banner shape. Glue to the cauldron with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
