Check Out Our Inspiration Photo For This Week!
Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. We made the announcement a few weeks ago that I am now part of a new venture, partnering with Connie Babbert. I hope you will enjoy our lineup of blog posts and projects all week long. I’ll explain what each post is about so you’ll know what’s coming up each week and each month!
Inspiration Monday is weekly where Connie & I create a project by using an inspiration photo. This week’s inspiration is this beautiful plant photo:
I chose to replicate the photo using the plant pots and this is what I came up with:
The detail on all of the stamp images is so beautiful. I filled each pot with different leaves using different colors. Can you picture this on your windowsill?

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shaded Spruce Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Crushed Curry Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: 2023-2025 In Color Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 4-3/4″ x 3-3/8″ Deckled Rectangles Dies. Follow these steps:
- Plant Pots: Stamp (3) different plant pots with Pebbled Path, Crushed Curry and Pecan Pie Inks. Cut with the dies and glue to the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals starting close to the right edge.
- Use Pecan Pie Ink and a Water Painter to add shading under each pot.
- Stamp & cut the different leaves with Lost Lagoon, Shaded Spruce, Parakeet Party and Bubble Bath Inks. Cut with the dies. Tuck and glue into the plant pots. Note that I stamped one leaf on scrap paper first first for a lighter ink color on one of the pots.
- Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with the small banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Cut the right end flat. Tuck and glue under the plant pot.

Debbie. I cased your sponged on color with simple black flower. I love it! I think I’ll use that technique with my stampers this month. I used bubble bath, flirty flamingo and poppy parade
