Pocket Card Folds!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. I love that we all created neat card folds for the past few weeks. This week is all about Pocket Cards and this is what I chose for my design:
I used the Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper for the pocket in the front and adorned my two cards with layers from the Changing Leaves Bundle:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Changing Leaves
- Inks: Granny Apple Green, Peach Pie, Soft Sea Foam
- Cardstock: Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green, Rich Razzleberry, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Thoughtful Journey
- Tools & Accessories: Changing Leaves, Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
Pocket Card:
- Card Base: Peach Pie Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Rich Razzleberry Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Set aside.
- Layer 4: Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper 3-1/2 x 3-1/2. Cut diagonally for 2 pieces. Score at 1/4″ on one long side and fold. Add adhesive to the small scored tab and glue to each side of the white layer. Add Tear & Tape at the bottom of the white layer and fold the designer paper towards the center. Press in place over the Tear & Tape. Add adhesive where both designer pieces are layered over each other to glue in place.
- Layer 5: Use the circle die with Blackberry Bliss Cardstock to cut (1). Glue over the designer papers wehre they meet.
- Branch: Use the branch die to cut with Granny Apple Green Cardstock. Glue to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to the designer paper layer.
Mini Card:
- Card Base: Peach Pie Cardstock 9 x 2-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4 x 2-1/4. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Blackberry Bliss Ink. Stamp the large leaf image above the sentiment with Soft Sea Foam Ink.
- Leaves: Stamp the medium leave with Peach Pie Ink and the small leaf with Granny Apple Ink. Cut with the dies and glue the Peach Pie leaf to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the small leaf flat.
