Pretty Fall Colors
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. We have a theme today that uses Pretty Fall Colors. We are right smack-dab in the middle of such pretty fall colors in Maine. I wish you could see them!
Here’s my card using some of those fall colors:
I used Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green and little slivers from the Spendid Autumn Designer Paper. It was easy to add those colors in strips like I did:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Thoughtful Wishes
- Inks: Cajun Craze
- Stampin’ Blends: Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green
- Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Granny Apple Green, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Splendid Autumn
- Tools & Accessories: Thoughtful Wishes Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Cajun Craze Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Assorted strips from the Splendid Autumn Designer Paper (1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″). Glue to scrap paper and cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 5-1/8 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Use the branch diecut with Cajun Craze Cardstock. Glue to the left on the card front.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies 3-1/2 x 2-1/4. Glue 3/4″ from the right edge with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flower Image: Stamp the flower image on Basic White Cardstock with Cajun Craze Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the die and glue to white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Granny Apple Green Cardstock with Cajun Craze Ink. Cut with the banner from Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue over the flower image with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
