We Have A Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends. Our challenge team used these three colors for our color challenge this week:
I love the little critter image from the Hearts & Hugs Bundle. Connie and I actually used this bundle for one of our most recent collections. You can find all of our tutorial collections HERE.
I also chose to add the cute row of diecut hearts around the diecut circle and added two different designer paper pack patterns for some of my layers:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Hearts & Hugs
- Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Copper Clay, Pool Party, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Take To The Sky, Thoughtful Journey
- Inks: Copper Clay
- Tools & Accessories: Hearts & Hugs Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Take To The Sky Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 1-3/4. Trim one end into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue about 1/2″ from the left side.
- Layer 5: Pool Party Cardstock 3-3/4 x 1. Glue about 1-3/4″ from the bottom.
- Layer 6: Use the 2-1/2″ circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies with Basic White Cardstock. Glue about 1″ from the top.
- Critter: Stamp the critter on Copper Clay Cardstock with Copper Clay Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the center of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Copper Clay Ink on Pool Party Cardstock 3-1/4 x 1/2. Trim both ends into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue to the critter by adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to each end.
- Hearts: Cut 7 hearts with the die and Misty Moonlight Cardstock. Glue around the outside of the circle on the Pool Party layer.
