Case The Catalog Last Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . Our design team is in it’s last week of Case The Catalog. This week, this is the project we are all casing:
If you are new to stamping and have never heard the word CASE, it means Copy & Share Everything or Copy & Selectively Edit. You can see here that I used the layout of the project for my layers:
I used the pretty stamp set called Spotlight On Nature. I am always a sucker for butterfly images and this one does not disappoint! Notice the Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush on the wings too, so gorgeous!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Spotlight On Nature
- Cardstock: Peach Pie, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Basic White
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Inks: Peach Pie, VersaMark, Basic Gray
- Stampin’ Blends: Petunia Pop, Peach Pie
- Tools & Accessories: Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Paper Snips, Perennial Postage Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Smoky Slate Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Peach Pie Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Peach Pie Cardstock 4 x 3-1/4. Stamp the large leaf image with Peach Pie Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: 2024-2026 In Color Designer Paper 4-1/4 x 3/4. Glue about 3/4″ from the bottom of the Peach Pie layer.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the Perennial Postage Dies 2-3/8 x 1-1/2. Stamp the butterfly image with Basic Gray Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Color the wings with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the designer paper.
- Layer 6: Basic Gray Cardstock 1-3/8 x 5/8. Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt with the Heat Tool.
