April Nature Theme!
Connie and I are back at it this week for Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple. Each week we inspire you with two projects that are simple to replicate and with a theme. April’s theme is Nature!
I created this card using the Magnolia Mood Bundle and Inked Botanicals Designer Paper:
I stamped direct-to-paper for the sentiment layer and the flower is stamped and diecut:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Magnolia Mood
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Pretty Peacock, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Inked Botanicals
- Tools & Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pretty Peacock & Gold 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Pretty Peacock Cardstock 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Inked Botanicals Designer Paper 4-1/2″ x 2-1/4″. Glue the ribbon at the top on the long side and wrap underneath to glue in place. Glue layer to card front.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right on the designer paper with Early Espresso Ink.
- Layer 5: Use the Stylish Shapes Dies 2 square 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ to cut the designer paper. Glue to card front at the left.
- Flower: Stamp the flower on Basic White Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the diecut square with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
