Oh my heart, granddaughter number three turns one!
We missed our third granddaughter’s first birthday back on June 26th. She actually turned one on the 25th but the party was scheduled for the the following day which fell on the weekend. Kassie’s party was scheduled on the same day that Dave passed away. He waited until the day after her actual birthday to make his journey to Heaven. That’s what I think. Dave always put everyone else first.
I had created this birthday card two weeks prior to Kassie’s birthday and mailed it along with her gifts, just in case. I’m glad I was able to plan ahead, just in case. I used the Floral Hearts Dies because they are so elegant and pretty.
I had also created the birthday invites for the party:
One bundle that is retired that I will never get rid of is the Number of Years Bundle that includes the stamp set and the Large Numbers Dies. I use this set all the time for invites such as these. My daughter Jessica did send me photos of the party that was so special:

Debbie, so so sweet! Your card and invitations are absolutely brilliant and so adorable. My sincere condolences on Dave’s passing. I know he is still cheering you on. Take care of yourself. I’ve been where you are but it was a long, long time ago.

Perfect card, Debbie. Cute little granddaughter!
My heart aches for you during this very difficult time. Take some comfort in knowing Dave is longer in pain and he sits at the right hand of God, watching over you.
