Soft Seedlings!
Today is Day #2 of my Hello Harvest Stamp Camp that I held in my home a little over a week ago. If you missed Card #1, you can scroll to the top and click on HOME and you’ll see it listed or you can click —>HERE<–.
This card is all about leaves. For those of you that have been following me for many years, my first love is always butterflies, closely followed by leaves! The stamp set I used is called Soft Seedlings:
It was fun to use the same leaf image, ink it up three different times with three different inks and position them in different directions each time. I actually cased (copied) this card from our Annual Catalog but used different ink and cardstock colors. Here’s a detailed view:
Card Supplies:
- Stamps: Soft Seedlings
- Inks: Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Gray Granite
- Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Gray Granite, Basic Gray
- Tools & Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Using the helicopter stamp image, stamp diagonally from the top right to the bottom left using Pumpkin Pie Ink.
- Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 4″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp the leaf image three times on the white layer using Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie and Gray Granite Inks. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon 3-1/2″ long. Trim the left end of the ribbon into a banner. Glue to card front. (I used Tear & Tape)
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on the Gray Granite Cardstock 3″ x 1″ using Gray Granite Ink. Cut the left end into a banner shape. Glue over the ribbon by adding Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top and adhesive on the bottom.
- Bling: Add Rhinestone Jewels to the background.
