CASING Lori de Groot!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! This week’s Case the Designer is Lori de Groot and this is the card I picked from her blog:
There are many colors in the designer paper, so I picked a few to add to my card you see below since the designer paper Lori used is now retired:
I chose to use the Glorious Gingham Designer Paper and I love how it pops paired with the other colors I used.
Here’s the how-to:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Sweet Citrus
- Inks: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst
- Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Glorious Gingham
- Tools & Accessories: Balmy Blue 3/8″ Sparkle Ribbon, Glossy Dots Assortment, Tear & Tape, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Daffodil Delight Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Glorious Gingham Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 3″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 4″ x 2-3/4″. Stamp the lemon pieces with Daffodil Delight Ink and the flowers with Balmy Blue Ink to create a background. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Die-cut Circle: Cut (1) circle with the Stylish Shapes Dies 1-3/4″ and glue to the bottom right corner of the stamped layer.
- Ribbon: Add two strips of Tear & Tape 1/8″ apart about 1/2″ from the bottom of the stamped layer. Press the Balmy Blue Ribbon over the tape. Trim the ends with Paper Snips.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 2-5/8″ x 5/8″ with Balmy Blue Ink. Glue over the ribbon.
- Blong: Add Glossy Dots Assortment to the background.
