Neutral Palette Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Our design team is going to give you ideas today, with neutrals! I love me a black & white card but this time, I added Pecan Pie in the mix and I love how much it pops with the black & white background:
The Perennial Postage Dies are my go-to lately for sentiment layers. I love the diecut shape. I also added some Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots to finish off my card:
Here’s an easy way to achieve a uniform background:
- Layer is Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″.
- Cut 1/2″ Basic Black Strips at leat 3-3/4″ long. I used five on my card.
- Glue one strip at the top and place another strip below it (don’t glue it down). This strip will be used as a spacer only.
- Glue a 2nd strip below the spacer. Remove the spacer.
- Repeat each time until you get to the bottom.
